Designing Instruction for (Effective) Active Learning
Instructors often are advised to engage students in “active learning.” But what really counts as active learning? In this session, you’ll learn how to distinguish between more and less effective forms of active learning and will explore high-impact instructional strategies that can facilitate effective cognitive engagement across disciplines.
