What is the Faculty Intensive Institute (FII)?

The Faculty Intensive Institute, hosted and facilitated by the Center for Teaching Excellence, is a 4-day, in-person intensive for faculty interested in strengthening their skills in best teaching and learning practices. CTE consultants and speakers will discuss everything from designing online class activities, assignments and rubrics, and building resources in the university's learning management system, Canvas. Each day we present a variety of teaching approaches and engage attendees in discussion and activities, with opportunities to engage with individuals from a variety of disciplines.
