Overview

SCF reports provide insight into student experiences, instructor effectiveness, and course quality. Reports are shared with instructors, administrators, and—when approved—students, in support of teaching improvement and review processes.

What’s Changing?

Starting Summer 2025, all current and recent feedback will be available in the Qualtrics SCF Dashboard.

You’ll be able to:

  • Access reports securely with your University SSO

  • View feedback for all courses you teach or oversee

  • Download standardized PDF reports

  • Explore archived data from past years (Spring 2024 - current)

Access Reports by Role

Student Dashboard

The Student Dashboard provides access to SCF results to help students make informed choices during registration. The dashboard pages are accessible through links in the Class Schedule and Class Registration systems and are available to anyone with a valid University login.

Instructor Dashboard

The Instructor Dashboard gives instructors access to detailed feedback for the courses they teach. Dashbard pages include quantitative summaries and student comments. Access is automatically granted to instructors of record.

Administrator & Staff Dashboard

The Admin & Staff Dashboard provides department- and college-level access to SCF reports across all courses in a unit. This includes response rates, aggregated data, and instructor-level results.

Access is granted to Deans, Department Chairs, and approved administrative faculty and staff. To request access, contact scf@utah.edu. Requests must be authorized by the head of the appropriate unit.

📁 Accessing Past Feedback

  • Feedback from Spring 2024 – Summer 2025 (Blue) will appear in Qualtrics

  • Feedback from Spring 2021 – Fall 2023 is being added to the Box folders your department already uses for SCF reports (2007–2020)
